*Moon Landing Anniversary Event: How'd We Get There? STEM Program, ages 9+

Registration Required

Explore some of the problems that were encountered while planning the first expedition to the moon.  From cooperation to engineering to the unknown, there were countless obstacles to be overcome to land a human on the moon.  We will look at historical documentation, talk about some of the history, and brainstorm ideas about what challenges were faced during the planning and execution of the lunar landing in 1969.

We will then attempt some of our own engineering and building projects.
