The Dancing Librarians
For Ages 8-18 --#thedancinglibrarians were born out of a love for dance, Zumba and books! Maria Russo and Esperanza Pacheco are both Youth Services Librarians. They discovered their love for Zumba and dancing by working together; then decided to join forces to encourage others to move and have fun! Ever since forming #thedancinglibrarians in 2016 they have been hosting dance programs at various libraries around New Jersey.
Maria Russo is a certified Zumba instructor and teaches weekly at the Meadowlands YMCA in East Rutherford.
Esperanze Pacheco is a former Zumba instructor and die-hard lover of Latin rhythms. She dedicates her free time to helping kids move, dance and have fun!
