The 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 - The First Landing of Humans on the Moon

The Cresskill Public Library proudly presents Space Program Historian Joe Lennox who will describe and explain all the amazing and exhilarating details of Apollo 11 in a multi-media presentation that includes the signts and sounds of the first moon landing, highly detailed scale models, actual spacecraft hardware, authentic flight documentation and a medallion that contains metal that actually went to the moon on this historic mission.

This program will last between 60 and 90 minutes. Ages 9 and up, plus any and all adults.

"Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon. July 1969 AD. We came in peace for all mankind." Neil Armstrong - Apollo 11 Commander and the first human being to walk on the Moon.
