Women's Health Workshop

Women's Health Workshop

Join 3 local women’s health professionals, as they share and discuss the lifelong impact of childbirth on women’s health. This educational forum is not just for expecting mothers, but for women of all walks of life looking to learn more about some of today’s most pertinent health concerns for women. Topics can include why seek out a doula? What is pelvic floor dysfunction, and what does it mean for female health and optimal functioning of the female body? From infancy through adulthood, what is the role of upright walking posture on female health? How does fetal position and child birth affect mother’s health for years to come?

Enjoy brief introductions and commentary from each professional, then the floor is yours to ask away! Curious about other topics within female health? Fertility? Posture? Nutrition? Exercise?

Wendy is a certified birth doula with experience in every aspect of child birth. Dr. Colleen is a physical therapist and Pilates instructor, with PT specialty in treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. John is a chiropractor specializing in pediatric and pregnancy care
