Author Talk: Jerry Carchi
Join us for a children's author talk and book signing! Jerry Carchi is the author of the children's book: "Princess Sydney Strong".
"Jerry Carchi is a jack of all trades but master of one, which is his love for his wife and his daughter Sydney. Jerry has roots in Hoboken and now he resides in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Jerry’s inspiration for writing this book came from seeing how his daughter, who was born with Pfeffier Syndrome would be so resilient after each of her reconstructive surgeries. Especially, after she received her halo for her mid-face surgery. He had practice saying the mantra in the book with Sydney and saw how she personified those words. This made him feel that every child needs to learn this mantra to see that being different is what makes us each special and we can celebrate each other’s differences. Jerry is looking to impact the next generation with a positive message of love, acceptance, and kindness for all."
