Local History Database Workshop
The Glen Ridge Public Library houses an extensive collection
of local history that is available via an in-house historical
database. This workshop will provide you with an overview of
its contents - historical house photos, newspaper articles, city
directories, subject index, yearbooks, and photographs. You’ll
learn how to access and search the database which is
available on any library computer or accessible on your device
when on the library’s Wi-Fi network. If you’re interested in
learning more about your home, the history of Glen Ridge,
genealogy and more, then don’t miss out on these workshop
opportunities. Participants may bring their own laptops or
tablets to follow along, but is not required.
