Friends Membership Meeting & History of Essex County Airport
The Friends of the Library will have their Annual Membership meeting at 6:30 pm in the Community Room. The meeting will include the election of officers and a brief discussion of the budget. Following the meeting, Tom Gomez, Airport Manager at Essex County Airport, will present a slide-lecture titled "A History of Essex County Airport." He will discuss the history of the airport from WWII until prresent day, the diffrent types of airplanes that have been used over the years, and the development of the facilities. He will also share historic photos of the airport and some of the famous people whoi have landed there.
