Star Trek Day Celebration!
September 8th is Star Trek Day! Star Trek the Original Series first aired on television on September 8th, 1966.
Join library director Matt Latham in celebrating all things Star Trek!
We will celebrate with some fun activities, display of memorabilia, and a screening of the classic Star Trek film: The Wrath of Khan.
Activities will include:
- Warp Speed informal trivia with small prizes
- Make your own tribbles craft
- Vote for your favorite captain poll
- Display of Star Trek memorabilia - on display throughout the month of September
- Screening of Wrath of Khan
- Refreshments too!
We will have our informal trivia, craft and favorite captain poll from 1pm to 2pm. At 2pm we will screen Wrath of Khan and have light refreshments. Star Trek costumes are encouraged :)
