CANCELED: Concert: The Kootz

CANCELED: Concert: The Kootz

The current public health concern involving the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is continuing to unfold.  The Library has been working closely with local and state authorities to make decisions that prioritize public health and safety. Per CDC guidelines for public gatherings, out of an abundance of caution, most events will be canceled or postponed until such time as more information is available and health officials provide updated guidance. At this time, these are only precautionary measures as we consider and care for the safety of our patrons.  We are working on rescheduling the program in the future.

The Livingston Public Library invites you to join us on Sunday, April 5 at 2:00pm for a concert performed by The Kootz!  The Kootz are a New Jersey based rock & roll band that specializes in playing classic rock, pop, soul, and blues music.

The Kootz formed as a band in the late 90s with 6 members and soon grew to encompass that of many more.  They have played in a wide variety of venues across the state ranging from rock clubs, biker bars, bistros, coffee houses, libraries, and festivals, just to name a few! They proudly call their music “rock and roll with fiber.”

Registration is not required for this event, and all are welcome to attend.  This concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Livingston Public Library as part of the Music Matters program series.
