Drive Thru Shredding Day

Suggested donation: $5.00 per box. Donations may be made by cash, check (payable to the Friends of the Glen Ridge Library) or Venmo.

Quickly, securely and conveniently shred documents and support the Friends of the Library at the same time! All you have to do is bring your paper to the Glen Ridge High School parking lot and we'll take care of the rest. DO NOT bring newspapers, magazines, photos, hardcover books, plastic binder covers, x-rays, holiday cards, and junk mail as they are not acceptable. 

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE IMPORTANT COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Due to COVID-19, we ask everyone to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a safe, and successful day:

• Everyone must remain in their vehicles at all times.  This means that you will not be able to watch your paperwork get shredded. If this is a concern for you, we recommend you wait until the next shredding event we offer. 
• Please have your paper in a cardboard box or paper bag. Garbage bags will not be accepted. All boxes will be returned to you.
• A volunteer will come to your vehicle to get your paper. Please have your boxes or bags to be shredded in an easily accessible location such as the trunk or backseat. This will allow our volunteers to retrieve your items safely.  
• Please wear a mask when a volunteer comes to your car or accepts a donation. Thank you.
