VIRTUAL- Healthy Brain Aging: tips and strategies

Maintaining a healthy brain is important as we age.

In this program  Alicia O’Connor of The Cognitive and Research Center of NJ (CRCNJ), will discuss what is normal brain aging and the importance of maintaining a healthy brain. 

The CRCNJ provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals with memory loss and other cognitive impairments.  

Alicia O’Connor MSW, LCSW serves as a Clinician and Research Liaison at The CRCNJ. She received her Master's of Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work in New Brunswick, NJ and completed her Certificate in Health and Aging at Rutgers University.

Alicia  will discuss different strategies and activities we can implement as we age to ensure optimal brain health.  She will also touch on the signs and symptoms of dementia, what to do if concerned, and what resources and services are  available if there is cognitive decline.

Current and upcoming research studies will also be highlighted.

This program is open to all.  Registration is required.
