FLOW Green Film Festival: The Plastic Problem

By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans. PBS NewsHour takes a closer look at this now ubiquitous material, how it’s impacting the world and ways we can break our plastic addiction.

Panel discussion to follow, featuring:

Ron Lotterman, Fair Lawn Recycling Coordinator

Amanda J Nesheiwat, Environmental Director, Town of Secaucus, NJ

Amanda currently works as the Environmental Director and Recycling Coordinator for the Town of Secaucus, NJ. She will explain the challenges of recycling plastic bags and styrofoam and the experience that Secaucus had with banning styrofoam. We need the statewide bill to help us better enforce our plastic bag ban! Let’s do this, NJ!
