Join us in a joyful celebration of our diverse community. The renowned drag queen Harmonica Sunbeam will be sharing stories and songs with children and their caregivers at our second DQSH. The stories and activities for this story hour are selected for an audience of 3 to 5 year olds, but children of all ages are welcome to attend with caregivers/family. Please register so that we can prepare and have enough craft supplies for everyone!
Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag queens reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In programs like these kids get a chance to meet diverse members of thier community, learn about kindness, self expression, and acceptance.
