5th & 6th Grade "Pizza and a Book" Book Club
For kids in grades 5 - 6. Together we will read a novel while enjoying a slice of pizza.
January - The book: The City of Ember. This is a 15 week program. If time permits, the last week will be the movie, The City of Ember which is rated PG.
Storyline: Many hundreds of years ago, the city of Ember was created by the Builders to contain everything needed for human survival. It worked…but now the storerooms are almost out of food, crops are blighted, corruption is spreading through the city and worst of all—the lights are failing. Soon Ember could be engulfed by darkness…
