Retro Storytime, children all ages and adults

Retro Storytime, children all ages and adults

No registration required for children.  Registration required for adult craft project.

This year is the 125th Anniversary of the Tenafly Public Library and throughout the year we will be celebrating historic milestones for the library.

The first ever storytime was held February 1950 so February 2020 marks the 70th anniversary!

Celebrate with stories, games, crafts, and food.

We will read Millions of Cats by Wanda Gag, the very book which was read at the first ever storytime!  Following the reading children will make a peachy keen craft and play nifty 50's games. You'll flip your lid over our tasty snack.

Adults will make a swell, 50s-inspired craft.

ONLY adults who wish to craft need to register.
