The Worth-Pinkham Memorial Library welcomes our four-legged friends from Kathy Santo Dog Training with our new Therapy Dog Reading Event! This program is for children who are independent readers and would like to practice their reading skills with a furry friend. 5 children may sign up for the event and each child will be assigned an 8-10 minutes slot to read. You must arrive on time for your assigned reading. If you are late, you will miss your time slot. Children should choose a book that is not too hard, but also not too easy to read. Each child will read to the therapy dog on their own in the Young Adult Room, parents and siblings can wait for them in the Children's Room.
