CELEBRATING WOMEN ARTISTS - THE HOBOKEN PUBLIC LIBRARY MARCH 4, 11, 18, 25

Art teacher, Liz Cohen Ndoye, will hold a new series of FOUR art classes at the Hoboken Public Library. These classes will accommodate beginners as well as more experienced artists.

Liz Cohen Ndoye, who has extensive experience in teaching students over the last 40 years of her art career, will introduce the contributions of women artists in history and the canon of art from new, contemporary artists.

CLASS 4 - LATOYA RUBY FRAZIER - LaToya Ruby Frazier was born in 1982 in Braddock, Pennsylvania, formerly worked in New York, and currently lives and works in Chicago. An artist and activist, Frazier uses photography, video, and performance to document personal and social histories of mid-western America. Students will create a fictitious activist cause and create an image to sway viewers into supporting their cause.
