From the Colonial Period to Today: The Architecture of Bergen County, New Jersey
Drive through any of Bergen County, New Jersey’s 70 municipalities and you’ll be amazed at its wonderfully rich and diverse architectural heritage. This lecture is based on the award-winning book by historians T. Robins Brown, Schuyler Warmflash, and photojournalist Jim DelGiudice.
By presenting a chronological overview of the county’s architectural history, DelGiudice will show how these structures shaped New Jersey’s built landscape from the colonial period to the present.
This program is supported by a grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the federal CARES Act.
