Censorship's Role in Oppression

Author, educator and Cuban native Alexis Romay will speak about censorship based on first hand experiences.

Alexis Romay is the author of two novels and a book of sonnets. He blogs on Cuba and literature at his site, Belascoaín y Neptuno. The program is part of the NEA Big Read in Bogota, Little Ferry and Ridgefield Park. For more information, visit communityread.org.
