Celebrate Hoboken Library’s 130^th anniversary with the three dynamic women responsible for its creation and extraordinary evolution. When Hoboken Library’s founder, Mrs. Martha Stevens, sits down with the library’s first female librarian, Mrs. Hatfield, and current Library Director, Lina Podles, via Zoom, there is a whole lot of heartfelt historical reminiscing, as well as what constitutes a Library now (no longer just a building with books) and perspectives on how the Library and its community was affected by and dealt with the Spanish flu of 1918 in comparison to Covid-19.
