We will be reading a short story and making delicious Frankenstein Avocado Toasts!

Frankenstein Avocado Toast
Ingredients:
∙ Avocados (mashed up) or guacamole
∙ Black olives, pitted (sliced, for the eyes)
∙ Whole grain toast
∙ Red pepper, sliced or tomato (for the lips)
∙ Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
∙ Cheese Stick or Piece of cheese (for eyeballs and side screws)
Directions:
1. Toast your bread until lightly browned or substitute for a whole grain cracker such as wasa crackers.
2. Smash the avocado onto the toast.
3. Grab the blue corn tortilla and place it on the top of the Frankenstein head for the “hair” (can substitute for finely chopped black olives).
4. Assemble the black olives as eyes, and red pepper or tomato as mouth.
5. Enjoy!
