BEE Friend the Dalkey Library Craft Kit Pick Up begins, kids ages 5+ through adults
Armchair travel and cultural exchange!
Pick up bee puppet craft kit between November 4 and November 25.
Each kit includes supplies for 2 bee puppets. One for you to keep and one for you to return to the library. We will ship the bee puppets to the Dalkey Library as part of their cultural exchange project. In return, the Dalkey Library will send us their own craft project. They will share images of all the projects they receive from around the world.
Why a bee? The bee is the state bug of NJ. Encouraged by a group of children from the Sunnybrae School in Hamilton Township, the honey bee became the state bug on June 20, 1974.
Dalkey, a seaside town, is a suburb of Dublin on the east coast of Ireland. Wish we could visit in person!
