Native American Artist James Lavadour - Liz's Art Class on Zoom! With Supplies!

We are shaking up Liz’ art classes! Liz will be live on Zoom to answer all your questions!

December is a month of light and celebration. As our days shorten and we experience less and less sunlight, we hunker down to enjoy the splendor and warmth of indoor lighting and candle light. In honor of this month at years end, we will be looking at art by artists who I think express joy in their work.

Finally on Dec. 30, we will look at the abstract “landscapes of Native American artist James Lavadour. Lavadour comes from the state of Oregon and is member of the Walla Walla tribe. He makes installations fo multiple “landscape” paintings in intense and glorious colors that glow like gems against museum walls all over the world. We will make our own imaginary winter landscapes and review the techniques of landscape painting and the use of the color wheel.

PLEASE NOTE:
SUPPLIES WILL BE GIVEN OUT STARTING ON MONDAY, DEC 7 at 12 Noon- UNTIL THEY LAST.

Registration is required (see the button below).

ONLY PEOPLE WHO REGISTER HERE WILL RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK AND PASSWORD TO ENTER THE CLASS 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS.
