VIRTUAL Let's Talk About Books: Maid by Stephanie Land

The next virtual meeting of Let’s Talk About Books, a monthly book discussion group at the Livingston Library, will be on April 9, 2021 to discuss Maid by Stephanie Land.

"A journalist describes the years she worked in low-paying domestic work under wealthy employers, contrasting the privileges of the upper-middle class to the realities of the overworked laborers supporting them."  Sylvia Jacobs is the presenter.

The one-hour discussion will begin at 12:45 PM online.  The meeting is free and open to everyone interested, whether they have read the book or not.  Participants must register in order to receive the link to the program one day ahead of time.
