[Online] (R) Tell Me a Story-Storytelling hour for adults
This one is for the adults kids.
Come explore the art of storytelling with us during this special event. Here's the lowdown:
- Stories must be true. Either it happened to you or it was something you witnessed.
- Stories must be rehearsed, but not written down. We're talking about that story you've told more than once, maybe people request it during gatherings.
- It must be told in less than five minutes.
The following are some storytelling tips:
- The best stories have a beginning, middle, and end. As you're rehearsing your story try to structure it that way too.
- Begin with a great hook. It can be from the beginning, middle, or end, but it should be something that draws the listener into the story.
- Be authentic. It's your story-own it!
This event will be held on Zoom so click the link below to register. It doesn't matter if you're going to tell a story or not. If you just want to listen to and appreciate others' stories you should register too!
Be aware that this program may be recorded and shared on social media.
