Michelangelo: the Miniature Therapy Horse (Online)
For grades pre-school to 5th
Meet Michelangelo (and his friends!), learn about miniature horses, what they eat, where they live, and, since they are too small to ride, what kinds of jobs they have. Michelangelo is a miniature therapy horse who visits residents at assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and students at schools for children with special needs. Maureen Coultas, Director of Hope’s Promise Equine Assisted Activities, will also read aloud Michelangelo the Little Therapy Horse and children will have a chance to ask questions.
This program is held virtually via Zoom. Registration is required to access the meeting.
