Earth Day Celebration
Celebrate Earth Day with the Bergenfield Public Library and Bergenfield DPW Recycling Program! Participants will receive a tote bag with a planter, seeds, soil, plant marker and more. Children will have the opportunity to plant their seeds in person, outside of the library if the weather and health emergency allows. Winners of the 3rd-5th Grade Bergenfield Schools Earth Day Poster Contest will also be on display at the event.
Masks and social distancing required. If circumstances do not permit, take home kits will be offered. This event is free and open to all ages. Tote bag purchases were made possible due to the Municipal Tonnage Recycling Grant administered by the NJDEP.
