"Positively Poetry Reading Series"

"Positively Poetry Reading Series"

In honor of National Poetry Month, nine award-winning and published poets will present a "Positively Poetry Reading Series" on Tuesdays and Thurdays at 7:00 pm throughout April on the Library's Facebook page. The poets will be reading uplifting poems about Spring and nature (birds, flowers, butterflies, etc.) as well as poems focusing on other upbeat topics.

On Thursday, April 8, award-winning and published poet Roxanne Hoffman of Hoboken will read poems from some of her poetry collections including, "The Venetian Hour: Dinner with the Muse," "Chopin with Cherries." "So It Goes," "The Best Stain," and "The Waiting Room Reader." She is also the founder and publisher of Poets Wear Prada. 

Registration is not required, but videos of the poetry readings can be viewed at 7:00 pm on the Library's Facebook page.
