VIRTUAL Meet the Author Jeannie Zokan: The Writing Process and Pursuing Indie Publication

Join the Livingston public library for a "Meet the Author" event with Jeannie Zokan.  Perfect for both readers and aspiring writers, Zokan will be discussing her novels as well as the writing process and her pursument of indie publication.

Zokan is the author of two novels, The Existence of Pity (2016) and Courage Without Grace (2021), published by Red Adept Publishing. Growing up in Colombia, South America, where she quickly developed a love for reading, Zokan went on to pursue a degree in Library and Information Science from Baylor University and then continued her education at George Washington University. Zokan’s novels use bits and pieces of her life observances, where The Existence of Pity is set in Colombia during the 1970s and where Courage Without Grace is set in Washington D.C. during the 1980s. Her novels have been praised for their ability to draw readers in and immerse them inside the fictionalized world crafted through her prose.
