“Emigration, Immigration and Refugee Dilemmas: Theirs…and Ours”
Adjunct Professor of Cross-Cultural Studies Judy Manton will conduct a PowerPoint presentation as part of her discussion on “Emigration, Immigration and Refugee Dilemmas: Theirs…and Ours” on Tuesday, May 18, at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This program is free and open to the public, and no registration is needed.
For the last 60 years, Manton’s life has intersected with Latin Americans. Upon reflection, she has come up with a set of eleven topics to bring some perspective to the immigration situation facing us today. Manton will also discuss her experiences as part of a delegation that went to Honduras in 2018, speaking out against some of the horrors found in that country.
