Livi Cares: An Adult Volunteer Club
The Livingston Public Library invites you to join our Livi Cares: Adult Volunteer Club this summer, where we will be distributing supplies for you to write letters which will be donated to “Letters Against Isolation.”
Beginning July 1st through July 31st you’ll be able to stop by the Library to pick up supplies to create handwritten letters that will be sent to Seniors in need of a smile. Letters can be completed in person at the Library or at home. Return your completed letters to the Reference Desk inside the Library, where they will be collected and sent to the organization.
"Letters Against Isolation" partners with nursing homes and long term care facilities to send letters to seniors. You can learn more about their organization at: https://www.lettersagainstisolation.com/
Registration is not required for this event and all are welcome to participate. Participants are expected to follow all current CDC guidelines. For more information, call the Adult Services Department at 973-992-4600 ext. 263.
