The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also know as the Moon Festival, is one of the traditional holidays in Chinese culture.
The full moon is a symbol of reunion and happiness, and the Moon Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. It is a holiday devoted to the gathering of friends and family to admire the moon and share the enjoyment of moon cakes.
The Chinese Parents Association of Tenafly cordially invites you to celebrate with us to enjoy our local choir of children from 3 to 10 years old who will sing and recite poems on this fun-filled day. Please join us on Saturday, 9/18 from 3:00-4:00 at Tenafly Library for what we hope will be the beginning of a happy, healthy and beautiful fall.
Everyone is welcome to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on the grass if you wish for a bit more space.
