Cyber Security Awareness Presentation
As part of Cyber Security Awareness month, the library is hosting an hour long program on Cyber Security, presented by Officer Eric Acosta of the Department of Law and Public Safety for the New Jersey State Police. He will discuss general dangers we face online from criminals attempting to pray on us including phishing scams, malware, DOS attacks and more. Learn the warning signs that someone is trying to get into your information and what to do if you suspect yourself to be a victim of an attack. A Q&A session will be available immediately after Officer Acosta's presentation. Resources and more information will be available throughout the month in the library as well.
