VIRTUAL Hearty and Healthy Winter Soups

VIRTUAL Hearty and Healthy Winter Soups

Learn how to use superfoods in hearty, healthy, and nutritious winter soups to support your immune system and dazzle your taste buds too, in this virtual program presented by Integrative Health Coach Mary Ellen Zung.

Food is medicine and winter vegetables and grounding warming spices are just the thing for your soup pot in winter.  Mary Ellen will discuss the health benefits of whole food ingredients, and demonstrate these food items and ways to make healthy soups taste delicious. You will learn how to make hearty and healthy soups without using butter, cream, or meat. Plenty of recipes will be shared.

Mary Ellen is a frequent speaker for employers and community organizations. She teaches the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program, and is currently involved with ScreenNJ through a grant with the North Jersey Health Collaborative to educate the community about the importance of cancer screenings. She is also passionate about mental health, and is a founder of Team De-Stig, part of the Health & Wellness committee of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

The program is free and open to all and registration is required.

The zoom link will be emailed the day before the event.

The program is made possible with the support of  The Friends of the Livingston Public Library.
