VIRTUAL Holiday Lights of New York City

 

Join lecturer Mario Medici for this photo slide lecture that will give you a scintillating view of the holiday lights that illuminate New York City every year.

The virtual tour will begin at 59th and Lexington, and will meander through the streets of New York City viewing the holiday lights and window decorations, as only New York City can do it. Slides will include, among others, the UNICEF Snowflake, Radio City Music Hall, the Channel Gardens at Rockefeller Center, and a host of gaily decorated storefronts and hotels, including Saks,Trump Tower, and St.Patrick’s. 

The lecture will include some historical facts about the key sights, and include works of art, making the experience much more enjoyable and entertaining.

This presentation is the next best thing to being in New York City and guaranteed to put you in the merry holiday spirit.

Mario is a retired information technology executive with 50 years of business experience, 30 of which were with the airline industry. Having traveled the world extensively, and with a love for amateur photography, Mario also lectures on the sights and attractions of New York and New Jersey with a concentration on their historical, architectural, and artistic aspects.

Registration is required for the program and the zoom link will be emailed the day before the event.
