Master The Job Interview

Master The Job Interview

Interviewing is, at its best, a conversation between individuals with a similar goal - to find the best fit. It is crucial to differentiate yourself from other candidates through comprehensive research and preparation, while understanding that organizations are increasingly incorporating technology into their interviews.

During this workshop, career coach Jennifer Rodgers will discuss the before, during and after of the interview, and share techniques to overcome interview anxiety.

You will learn techniques to present yourself successfully both in person and over the Internet, and practice some common interview questions. You will walk away with increased knowledge of, and confidence in, yourself and in the interview process.

Jennifer has been involved in career counseling since 2002, helping individuals at all levels become more aware of who they are and how they fit into the world of work. Her experience includes working in public and private universities with undergraduate and MBA students and alumni. In 2010, she fulfilled a dream of having a private career coaching practice.

The workshop is open to all and no registration is required.

It is made possible with the support of The Friends of the Livingston Public Library
