Positive Poetry Reading Series
In honor of National Poetry Month, Jersey City Poet Laureate Susan Justiniano (aka Rescue Poetix) will present a poetry reading of some of her award-winning poems in English and Spanish as part of the Library's Positive Poetry Reading Series on Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 pm. Some of the poems she will read include "Sands of Africa," "By the Light of the Ghetto Moon," "The Power of Softness," "Rebellion of Self," and "No Mirror Image." She has also recorded over 50 original poems to music in English and Spanish. This event will be held in the Small Programming Room/ Garden and registration is required.
