26th Annual Summer Film Series: "Everything Everywhere All at Once

Everything Everywhere All At Once will be the 8th film in the 26th Annual Summer Film Series at the Englewood Library on Tuesday, August 23, at 7 p.m. in the library’s Mackay Room. This film replaces the previously scheduled Top Gun: Maverick. The program is free and open the public, and no registration is needed. Masks are preferred at all times.

Everything Everywhere All at Once follows Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), a woman drowning under the stress of her family’s failing laundromat, her ailing marriage to Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) and the elderly father (James Hong) who disapproves of her life choices. But it’s the widening gulf between Evelyn and her daughter Joy (Stephanie Hsu) that threatens to unravel the fabric of existence as she learns that she’s just one in a vast multiverse of Evelyns — and the only one who can save it.

The film also stars Jamie Lee Curtis. This 2022 film is rated R for some violence, sexual material and language. The running time for Everything Everywhere All At Once is 139 minutes.
