Liz Ndoye: Brings Art and Poetry into your home in Celebration of National Poetry Month, with the Art of Cy Twombly. Live on Zoom
April 20th we will draw inspiration from the paintings of Cy Twombly who loved to create images of ancient Greek myths. His painting Hero and Leander was inspired by a poem by the same name by Christopher Marlowe. For this class students will be invited to think of a mythological character or creature that they know and make a painting, drawing, or sculpture in honor of that myth.
Please register below. REGISTRATION CLOSES 15 MINUTES BEFORE EVENT. ONLY PEOPLE WHO REGISTER HERE WILL RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK AND PASSWORD TO ENTER THE CLASS 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS. To protect the Zoom call from outside interference, please register with your name and email.
