Killing off a character, no matter how minor, can have a great impact on a story, be it the plot or the characters within the story. Like with many things in storytelling, there are good and bad ways to do this. You can end up with a scene that is devastatingly heartbreaking or a scene that ends up frustrating yourself as well as your potential audience. We will discuss the best tactics to use and what to consider before you decide to send your character to feed the fishes.
