Mile Square Summer Reading Kickoff!

Mile Square Summer Reading starts on Saturday, June 11! Join us for a day of activities to celebrate the start of summer:

  • 11:00am-12:00pm The Lizard Guys 
    • Come mingle with some really unusual lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs & bugs--for ages 5 and up; requires registration..
  • 12:00pm-1:00pm Kid's Crafts
    • Join us in Church Square Park for a variety of Hoboken themed crafts and coloring--suitable for all ages; no registration required. 
  • 1:00pm-2:00pm Bubble Dance Party
    • We will be playing with bubbles and dancing to our favorite story time songs--suitable for all ages; no registration required. 
  • 12:00pm-2:00pm Teen Field Day
    • Church Square Park will be full of games, challenges, and the chance to win prizes; for ages 11 and up; no registration required.
  • 2:00pm-3:00pm Demolition String Band
    • Demolition String Band’s Elena Skye & Boo Reiners weave harmonies out of joy and heartbreak, despair and redemption, myths and truths - all great topics for a Summer Reading book.

Mile Square Summer Reading is open to everyone--no age or residency requirements.
