Introduction to Wine
Join us at the library as Dr. Mark Vogel helps us begin our journey to explore the world of wine. Dr. Vogel's presentation (not tasting) offers a comprehensive guide to buying, storing, serving, and cooking with wine and will help you become an informed wine consumer. There is an overview of the world's main wine producing regions and wines.
This program is for adults ages 18 and over. Registration is required.
About the presenter: Dr. Mark R. Vogel is a clinical psychologist, professionally trained chef, food and wine writer, lecturer, and novelist. He did his doctoral training at Yeshiva University, in New York. In 2003 he graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education, also in New York. For ten years he taught cooking classes and edited cookbooks. For sixteen years, he wrote a food and wine column entitled Food for Thought.
