Art Lecture & Creative Workshop In Celebration of Caribbean American History Month, with Liz Ndoye
For this class we will be looking at an extraordinary up and coming artist, Ebony Patterson. Patterson is a Jamaican-born visual artist and educator. She is known for her large and colorful tapestries created out of various materials such as, glitter, sequins, fabric, toys, beads, faux flowers, jewelry, and other embellishments. We will be creating our own mixed media collages after viewing Patterson’s unique and vibrant works.
Participants will have a chance to create their very own works of art.
Classes will be held in person at our library's main branch, located at at 500 Park Ave, in the lower level, and virtually. Visit our website for updates at HobokenLibrary.org
