Art Lecture & Creative Workshop in Celebration of Caribbean American History Month, with Liz Ndoye

Art Lecture & Creative Workshop in Celebration of Caribbean American History Month, with Liz Ndoye

This class will feature Jean Michel Basquiat one of the most gifted artists of the 20th Century. Tragically dead at a very young age - Basquiat left behind an extraordinary body of work that many admire and wish to own today. Basquiat had the kind of talent that a comes along rarely in the history of the world and we will spend time discussing his genius before creating our own art inspired by his strong control over line, shape , and color. Participants will have a chance to create their very own works of art.

Classes will be held in person at our library's main branch, located at 500 Park Ave, in the lower level, and virtually. Visit our website for updates at HobokenLibrary.org
