History of Sandy Hook, N.J.
For almost 200 years, this small barrier spit land played a significant role in the protection of New York Harbor. The oldest standing lighthouse in the United States, a military weapons testing site, a top-secret Nike missile site, and today, part of the National Gateway Recreation Area. Join us for this slide presentation, complete with photos, WWII era music, and videos. This hybrid event will take place in the Montvale Council Chambers, and will also be streamed online.
