Pride Book Discussion Group - Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers

Pride Book Discussion Group - Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers

The Pride Book Discussion Group reads and discusses books centered around LGBTQ themes each month of the summer. Any LGBTQ-identifying person or ally who would like to interrogate the representation of queerness in various types of literature is welcome.

Join us on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm in person (masks required) in the Small Programming Room on the lower level of the Main Branch to discuss Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers. Honey Girl depicts the journey of recent Ph.D. graduate Grace Porter as she attempts to figure out what is truly fulfilling to her in adulthood as she processes her challenging relationships with her family--and attempts to make things work with a woman she married in Vegas without even knowing her name.

Please email Stephanie at stephanie.lodico@hoboken.bccls.org to join the discussion, or if you have any questions about this event. Print copies of the book will be available for pickup after you RSVP to the event.
