Make Music Englewood!

Make Music Englewood!

The Englewood Public Library extends it's participation in Make Music Englewood, a family friendly celebration of music featuring music makers far and wide.  The event will take place on Friday, June 24 from approximately 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Library lawn, so please bring a chair or blanket. This event is a rescheduling of Tuesday's outdoor date at the Library that was rained out.

Friday's performance presents an “unplugged” evening of Bergen County songwriters, including Melissa Cherie, Amanda Brite and Dan Sheehan (plus special guests including Sabrina Reyes and more),  presenting their songs (and possibly some covers) spanning a variety of genres to help you usher in the first weekend of Summer ’22.

Make Music Englewood is North New Jersey’s installment of Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration held every June 21st in over 1,000 locations in 120 countries, modeled after La Fête de la Musique which began in the 1980s to showcase the rich musical culture of Paris. As with all Make Music Day events, Make Music Englewood is free to the public.

For further information on the festival, please email programming@englewood.bccls.org, or visit the Make Music Englewood Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/440852007501788 The Englewood Public Library is located at 31 Engle Street, Englewood, NJ.
