Art Lecture & Creative Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Featured Artist Theresa Savage Harris

Art Lecture & Creative Workshop with Liz Ndoye. Featured Artist Theresa Savage Harris

In this class we will be looking at the art of Theresa Savage Harris. She is a painter who does
really interesting portraits of women swimmers in very wonderful and unusual compositions.
Students will really delve into the way dynamic composition can make for a really successful
painting!

All month long we will be looking at works of art inspired by the perfect
weather of summer and the outdoor activities that many of us partake in. Students will look at
and learn about art works that extol the beauty of summer from well-known and lesser known
visual artists and then create a variety of their own work. The projects that we do will enhance
and improve artistic skills and aesthetics appreciation.

Classes will be held in person at our library's main branch, located at 500 Park Ave, in the lower level, and virtually. Visit our website for updates at HobokenLibrary.org
