Introduction to Genealogy: a family history, its records, and the stories behind them
By using his own family, Steven Gabai of the Genealogical Society of Bergen County will show and explain genealogy records, its research and what you can learn by researching your family history. This slide show presentation tells the stories behind those records and research, as well as the breakthroughs, frustrations and brick walls that go along with it.
Mr. Gabai started researching his family history over 20 years ago. He is a member of the Genealogical Society of Bergen County and has been a trustee on the board since 2015.
