[Indoor] Gallery Opening-Monica Chavarria-Malin
Please join us for the opening reception of Monica Chavarria-Malin's exhibit: Saving Trees. Trees give life to the world; we need to protect our planet!
No registration is necessary and guests of all ages are welcome. Refreshments will be available. An optional dress code suggestion-wear something related to nature.
Monica is well known as "The Tree Lady". Her paintings depict trees of love-love for nature and of life where human feelings are reflected through their branches.
As a teacher of art education for over 20 years, Monica is dedicated to developing cultural and artistic projects for the community involving music, photography, design, theater, dance, art history, and visual arts. She is graduated from Antioquia University, Columbia with a Master's Degree in Management and Cultural Promotion, a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts.
